The Constitution 1956 is the first fundamental law that was adopted in Pakistan. According to this constitution, the president was the head of the state and the Prime Minster was the head of the government in Pakistan. A person is required to be a Muslim of forty years to become the president of Pakistan and the his tenure was five years.
